When Aurora's star clip twinkles, a new friend shows her what the weather is up to.

A little reindeer explains the darkest day of the year. A snowflake shows her its six sparkling arms, a puffin teaches her to count the thunder, and a kingfisher answers the big question: why is the sky blue? A heron waits with her in the fog, and a rainbow lorikeet helps her make a rainbow.

In ten gentle stories, Aurora learns that every kind of weather has something wonderful in it, and that every season has its own magic. Every story has two questions to talk about and one true fact to share at dinner.

For ages 3 to 7, at bedtime or any time.
